FAQs for Nook Account Migration to CinemaNow

What happens to NOOK Video titles I bought and stored in my NOOK Library?

After April 30, 2016, NOOK will no longer support the playback of your purchased NOOK Videos on the NOOK Video app or compatible NOOK devices.

To continue accessing and viewing your digital movies and TV shows, you will need to migrate your video content to CinemaNow and/or Disney Movies Anywhere.  On or before April 15, 2016, you will receive an email from NOOK with details on how to migrate your account.

During the account migration process, you will need to be sure to link to the same UltraViolet account that your NOOK account was linked to in order for your UltraViolet content to transfer to CinemaNow.

How will the transfer of NOOK Video to CinemaNow work? Do I need to do anything now?

On or before April 15, 2016, you will receive an email from NOOK with a link to the CinemaNow migration portal and special instructions to transfer your purchased NOOK Videos to a new or existing CinemaNow account. If you have not received the above referenced email by April 16, 2016, please contact the Nook Support team at https://help.barnesandnoble.com/app/nook_video/list or 1-800-THE-BOOK.

Why is Barnes & Noble making this change to NOOK Video?

This change is being made to concentrate focus and efforts on Barnes and Noble's core digital content business, which are Books and Newsstand.

How can I contact Barnes & Noble if I have additional questions about the changes to NOOK Video?

Contact the NOOK Support team (1-800-THE-BOOK) or visit https://help.barnesandnoble.com/app/nook_video/list if you still have questions.
